I set up some rules for my prisons, use them if you want, or get inspired to make your own rules!

Corrections vs Prison

I usually put teens in a separate facility. Sometimes I allow them to go to school and go to university before they served their time. But then they will have to continue serving in prison after uni. Just because in sims 2, you can’t go to uni later. But, it is also fun to screw them over and not let them go to uni… you can draw the line! I don’t let them have visits because that’s part of their punishment.

Anger management

Everybody must learn Anger management

If they are in a bad mood or already know it, they must work on relationships

Nobody is released unless they know anger management and has no furiousness or enemies.

Sign in

  • Everyone in PRISON quit their job (unless it’s criminal) because their employers wont have them

  • Get a prison token (From Inge Jones prison system)

  • Clothing (I usually put them all in the grey workout suit)

  • Assign cell

Release

Releases are done AFTER play session since prison and correctins are played late in the round

  • Confiscate cell phone

  • Remove prison token

  • Clothing

  • Make them take a loan. 500 per year served. Money goes to the prison/corrections facility, loan jar goes with the sim

  • Figure out where they are going to live now

Intendant salary

After each day, give the intendant 1000 from the household funds. When they have 10k in the bank, switch them out!
